All Villains Are Not Equal

SIDEBARA

In the Soul game, the villain enjoys triumphing over those that are weaker.

Misuse of Power - Outright Villain

Initially, the villain because of his strength and weapons’ arsenal threatens the life of the victims. Pure misuse of power in the form of abuse is the primary tool of the villain in this stage.

Misuse of Love

But then the Soul Game advances, and the villain is no longer easily recognized. He or she begins to abuse love, which requires great skill at manipulation. This emotional tool makes it is much harder to identify the culprit, especially since most players in the Soul Game are starved for love. Words of love, not actions, is what most victims will settle for. Even heroes are regularly seduced by the villains’ charade of love and adoration. In many ways, the misuse of love is the most lethal weapon of the villain, with its copious amounts of drugs or alcohol to deaden the feelings of the victims.

Villains Disguised as the Victim

More manipulation abounds as villains take on the disguise of the poor victim. Under the rules of the game players on the good side must help the victims. Even villains know that. So pretending to be weak, villains get helped over and over by gullible heroes. There is one big difference though: when heroes help true victims, the latter are eager to change. Villains on the other hand have no desire to progress; they just want to fleece the heroes and the victims.

Villains Disguised as the Hero

This is actually the most advanced stage of the villain role. They act as if they are there to help the downtrodden, but they really only want to help themselves to their possessions. You’ll find them in high profile jobs of great influence, saying all the right words in eloquent splendor. Their charisma can be blinding, just remember, the action they want from everyone is to give to them. This stage is the trickiest to see through, because the villains have learned that they must give first in order to receive, so they dish out just enough to sucker in people to trust them until all those who want to be taken care of empty their wallets.
